'The Mbombo' Monoprint Poster
19” x 13” Multi-colored, including pink, yellow, blue, black, and, more. This unique monoprint Poster is layered with acrylic paint, and spray paint, and the top layer is our original graphic of ‘Frederick Douglass’ screen printed by hand in black ink.
MONOPRINT: A method of printmaking where graphics are constantly repeated but are purposely placed differently on canvas creating a UNIQUE, One-of-a-kind piece of art.
Each MIXED MEDIA art piece starts on a blank poster board. After layers of screen-printing ink and/or acrylic & spray paint are laid down on the posterboard the end result is a multi-dimensional individual piece of art.
